Whaling City
Restoration Committee
Ancientest Burial Grounds, New London, CT WCRC funds are limited at the
moment, but we wanted a project that we could accomplish at no
cost. So, in
June of 2007, the Whaling City
Restoration Committee volunteered to cleanup leaves, fallen branches, and debris at the Ancientest Burial Ground
during the New London, CT, Community Clean-up Day. The WCRC
picked this particular site because we hope to, one day, help restore
some of the stones. Until that time, we will contine to help keep
it free of debris.
An interesting article about the location is located on the Asylum Eclectica website and can be accessed here.
